Bryan, Finola and the Orbital team investigate a circular wall made of junk in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania that may be tied to an amnesiac man named Eric.
With the somewhat clunky introduction of the first episode, the show feels like it's finding a direction. Like the previous episode the debris being tracked by the team feels like it's placing power in broken people who are unconsciously using it. It's a decent enough way to establish stakes for the episode, but when we find out why Eric feels "broken" it doesn't feel like much of an emotional catharsis especially with how easily it's resolved in the end. More details are revealed about an identity organization trying to gather Debris which keeps the main mystery feeling mostly focused, and more details about Finola's sister and father. I get the feeling the writer's are going for a similar approach to how Fox Mulder's sister Samantha served as a motivating force for that character in The X-Files, but so far I'm not feeling this plot thread. Maybe it'll get better development but it just doesn't resonate with me.
