The thing about episodes of the Godzilla cartoon is when they are tolerably good, they are over with before they start getting on your nerves.
Ghost Ship is such an episode.
There are no sudden monsters who are Godzilla's equal (the giant octopus is minor to the main plot) and threats and adventures are essentially human affiliated.
Even better, once the German crew begins to comprehend that the war is over for 60 years, they don't want to fight anymore.
As this is a Doug Wildey cartoon, couldn't help but compare this episode to the notorious Jonny Quest episode with the German pilot who gets the grenade caught in his wing.
Interesting the total downplay of the German crew going back to a world they haven't seen for sixty years tho.
