One section of the movie features the characters of Austyn played by Thor Knai and Lazarus played by Dan Bolton as computer graphics. The computer graphic scene was inspired by The Secret of Monkey Island (1990). Background in joke items featured in the scene include a model of the Delorean from Back to the Future (1985), a figure of ED-209 from RoboCop (1987), a toy Slimer from Ghostbusters (1984), and a Guybrush Threepwood voodoo doll from Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (1991). The scene also features buttons similar to the game which inspired it, with a unique button made just for the movie enabling a lead character to "Slice".
