SHORTREVUE Knowing your death date?
OJT21 April 2014
Prizewinning mystery short film made by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Even Benestad filled with well known actors.

A little strange device in a metal box is found after a psychiatric patient dies by heart failure on watch exactly the same day he predicted he would die. One of the attendants can't help checking the thing out, and it starts ticking, and spears him in his hand.

This is the setup for this short film shot in black and white, which is beautifully filmed, and with over all god hand work. The film is in both English and Norwegian, and the film opens in a way that doesn't really make us wonder how it's all going to end, before it goes into retrospect, making a point of what might be the reason. The rest should be left to the viewer.

The film keeps your interest right from the start, and is well made, and well worth the time of 24 minutes, but is no classic. The film won prize at a contest made by the Norwegian Film institute.
