This Show Knows What It Is

By far the best part was Johnny's training sequence that culminated in him trashing a guy's scooter for no reason and then karate kicking the surf. That last part made me laugh out loud.

Cobra Kai knows it's not prestige drama. And that's fine.

Johnny and deniel's old grudges are lit up again. And now they gonna have showdown,... and seriously man what the hell happened at the match honestly saying I didn't expecting that coming.

This is a great episode! Johnny vs. Daniel, but it doesn't feel like a tired thing because the conflict underpinning it (their kids, namely Sam and Miguel) are at the backbone of it. The match was great and I loved the outcome! The directing of the fights this season is really well done. In past seasons, sometimes Daniel didn't look that realistically capable to the level of results he was achieving, but he looks to have more fighting prowess this season. Tons of great Johnny humor with the tweets and "Show me another angle."

I'm giving this a 10 by virtue of Johnny's training montage. I rewatched it 3 times. So awesome and hilarious. Possibly the hardest I've laughed in this show so far. So awesome!

I should probably be deducting a star just by Daniel saying "when the kids were provoked into a fight" in reference to the drive in. Did he actually say this? Who's at fault here? The kids or the show writers!?! You dont pick on little kids and then cry about it when that kids older friends stand up for him.

At least Sam's mom had called her out for instigating at the party.

I could write all day about this show. I have been watching since before it was on Netflix. I won't even get into how much i love this show since I'm reviewing just this episode , so I'll ( try ) to just stick To this episode. Johnny makes this show and this episode was all his. I LOVED their showdown. The way it brings us back to that fight from part i we all loved so much , ( with Johnny so hot with his trademark bandana and gold locks haha)... and then we see this re match 30 years later and the ending ... best part. I literally laughed out loud. I didn't see that coming at all but it was so classic of the two of them and their dynamic as adults. Love it ! I loved how they watched Bloodsport at the Drive in and the nod to Chicagos Glory of Love. You obviously have to be from that era ( I'm 42) to enjoy a lot of this. But over all another well played episode. P.s, someone please ask Tori to smile.

Surprising

Best of the season and one of the best of the series.

I didn't expect such a good episode after the last weak episode. There was action, emotion, funny moments and everything the series has to offer.

Unlike before, all plots were interesting, Terry was amazing in this episode.

Johnny was the star of the episode, he made me laugh a lot during the episode, his and Daniel's plot was cool, and their fight was great.

And now I no longer feel sorry for the cobra kai, poor falcon.

Even the scenes at school were great, honestly I didn't remember demetri's "girlfriend".

Great episode that pretty much nails the tone of the series. Daniel vs Jonny, flashbacks to the films and previous seasons, training montage, this one has it all.

Humor!

After the Dojo training of hard core fighting, base balls, fighting hockey players training Cobra Kia vs the meditation Karate, the odd couple fracture. Both combatants know each others style and have the Rocky/Applo fight. Great ending were no one has an edge they both know each others style. We see why each class has others needing the opposite program. A fun too watch episode. Everyone wants to see Daniel and Johnny rematch. Well written and directed. Worth watching. 8 stars.

Action Back

The first peak fitfully played out halfway though. Good episode. The Odd Couple do their Rocky and Apollo secret fight but with a twist. Meanwhile it's both good and bad the entire season is leading to the tourney. The good is that there's a destination. The bad is the limitations since this show's really more about the characters.

Underwhelming fight

The episode was great, good and dramatic story, building up a decisive fight between Jhonny and Daniel. The fight was fine, but I expected much more, it lasted like two minutes, and Daniel and Jhonny have looked way better in this series. The result was nice, and it is sad to see the alliance over. Overall, solid episode.

Throw down showdown

Mistake in episode

Good episode, but go back and watch the scene when john and terry are in the restaurant they have water infront of them, when they're giving their order to the waitress, the camera changed behind them facing the waitress and the water disappeared and then another waiter comes by and places the water on table. Funny mistake lol.
