Host
George Murphy is celebrating Christmas with three Christmas-themed segments, showcasing individual Christmas related scenes from general movies or entire Christmas movies themselves. The first is
Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" from
Meet Me in St. Louis (1944). The second is several scenes from MGM's adaptation of the
Charles Dickens seasonal classic
A Christmas Carol (1938). The third, building on the issue of faith and Christmas, is a scene from the new MGM release
Kismet (1955) - which means faith - where
Ann Blyth and
Vic Damone profess their love while singing "Stranger in Paradise".
