The road not taken with lots of sex thrown in
J_Charles21 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
The STORY: An office worker (Takashi Ichinose played by Naohiro Hirakawa) has the dream life. He meets two beautiful ladies at a party, both of whom seem interested in him. He ends up leaving with Sakura (played by buxom Reiko Yamaguchi). One wild night of passion followed by six months and they find themselves married and living with Takashi's family (father, grandfather, sister) in the same apartment.

The ideal situation soon takes a turn for the worse as Sakura's nymphomaniac sex drive coupled with the paper thin walls of Japanese housing, and the eventual inability of newly wed husband Takashi to keep (it) up with his wife leads to tension, drama, and of course, lots of sex in the household. All of the in-laws get in on the act. Takashi eventually runs into the lady he left behind at the party and they have a sensual fling. But he goes back to his fate, looking for a divorce. In the final scene, his family practically gang rapes him as he is forced to 'enjoy' his family's newfound lust for life.

REVIEW: Wow, where to begin. They sure can pack a lot of sex in an hour. This pinku is pretty much all about the sex. No weird torture or psycho drama. It's pretty straightforward. The sex scenes are largely played for laughs with the exception of the first one between the two main leads, and the forbidden tryst between Takashi and the jilted Ryoko - that one probably has the most passion of them all. The actresses playing Ryoko and Sakura are very attractive. The sister didn't really do much for me. It was a little unsettling to watch grandpa getting it on with Sakura but it's easily overlooked once Sakura takes her top off.

It's a fun movie, played mostly tongue in cheek (and in other parts) and as an entertaining, light, and very sexy romp, I'd have to give it 8/10.

P.S. there's a 'sequel' to this film where the director shows what would have happened had the hero chosen the other lady. Interesting idea!

I found this film highly entertaining. The story is simple and the crew is so few.Almost all of them are getting involved with some kind of a sex act while the film is proceeding. There is no big, artistic settings in the entire film. Yet the film is fascinating and funny from the beginning to the end. I really wish that film does not contain such a lot of explicit scenes. The film is technically full of sexual acts and all are real and hardcore. Yet when an intercourse on close ups are blurred but you can still see through what is really going on. I also salute the director for bringing up such a controversial topic without any hesitation. I also hope to see more films from him soon.

most extraordinary 'pink'

I was tempted to drop this one a point for the fogging, but then decided, that as this was, in the main, unnecessary, but included to make the action look more 'real', I can only applaud even more. Where was I ? Ah, yes, reviewing the most extraordinary 'pink' by the prolific and very likable. Yutaka Ikejima. This is a real tour de force with some truly jaw dropping action. The leading lady, who the director quite rightly, commends both for her astonishing performance, as she works her way, sexually, through a whole extended family, and for her very large breasts. This is sexy, with an enormous amount of sexual activity, funny, with some hilarious moments, and knowingly reflective of Japanese life and its outside influences. Apparently shot very cheaply and very quickly, this is, nevertheless, a very accomplished work, even getting away with some dialogue spoken to camera.

Fascinating

First of all the movie is not really 10 star movie, just gave it that on a whim, maybe to balance out it's not so high rating...

It is my believe that most people mistake that movie for pornography, that is a misconception, of course this kind of movie would be totally unacceptable as a movie in the some countries, especially in the USA.

But it is in fact a movie, with a simple, straight forward plot, yet all the more captivating for it. What most fascinated me was the sort of inevitability of the "story". I don't recommend taking the development we see here as a common phenomena, but that is not the point. I believe that the "fantastic" element in this movie makes it so gripping, for that which some one fantasizes about but is not able to do in reality, is still a reality in itself, in his/her mind.

And that is the reason, I would wager, why most people are revolted by this movie, for it makes real (at least in fiction) what in a nearly infinite variety of speculation has crossed the imaginations and minds of mankind, but which is rarely (more or less ;) acted upon.

OK now here the truth: Everything written above was my opinion after seeing 10 minutes of this film. Now, after finishing this ridiculous, utterly hilarious, totally over the top movie, I have to say that I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It is a master piece, I have rarely seen a better parody of...yeah what exactly? That an unhappy choice for one individual may prove of great satisfaction (or better greater good) for the whole (an Asian family theme ?!?;). That just sex isn't everything or is? Depending on the situation... Whatever the movie blew my mind, with it's shameless fearlessness to indulge into the fantasy (with variation to specifics of course) of every sex deprived individual, outrageous and unhindered by moral or taboo, to indulge, to just indulge.

P.S. Consider the first part of my Preview as obsolete, BS, but for the sake of record I'll leave it there.
