WOW
Where? Have I been? What? Was I doing? How? Have I missed the first three seasons? I absolutely loved this first episode of Tough As Nails, a reality show I have never seen. There's so much going on here to make this a compelling watch.
Though I will probably never use any of the skills demonstrated, but who knows, I learned so so much. Most importantly though it is the Human Spirit that has attracted me to TOUGH AS NAILS. The producers did an excellent job choosing the competitors. I'm rooting and cheering for all of them. Unlike some reality shows which I refused to consider getting involved in where there is so much stupid drama, bad mouthing each other, and people I just don't want to get involved with, I'm inspired by everyone who is competing.
I'm one who values not releasing any spoilers, so I'm struggling not talking about any details of what occurred. All I want to say is that I CANNOT wait for future episodes, and, to look for past seasons. Phil Keoghan is remarkable, I think he would make a great boss. I've been watching The Amazing Race for years, most of the credit goes to Phil...besides all the places The Amazing Race goes to, places around the continent I will probably never visit. I'm replacing the skills that are demonstrated in Tough As Nails with the places that are visited in Race.
I could go on and on, but I won't.
It's interesting that there are no other reviews of this show. I'm happy that I am the first and if you are reading this and have not watched it, by all means put it on auto record.
Bring on episode 2.
