Jonathan Swift kick into the 21st century
eaglesj6107 July 2009
This short animated film takes a classic parody by famed Irish writer Jonathan Swift and conceptualizes it for the 21st century.

The animation is fast and colorful and the voices really make the piece something special.

A plot twist and a five minute running time keep the audience interested and provoke thought as well as laughter.

You can tell the animation team spent a lot of time planning out just what they needed to show without giving the audience overkill.

This video hits all the right notes and makes us all hungry for a little human flesh.

That is why I give it an 8 out of 10.

This was a great short

this is a really cool take on the short story by Jonathan Swift. I was wearing headphones while I was watching it and would like to point out that while this certainly isn't an IMAX experience, I think the use of sound in this piece was very good and really helps to bring a certain feel to it. the narration is both well done and well written, and the animations are really cool. I especially enjoyed the various backdrops throughout the piece, the use of color and contrast created for some really amazing visuals. kudos to whoever put this thing together, it was clearly done by a person with a lot of talent. I think anyone who can appreciate the subtleties of animation and photography will love this piece.
