The Motion Picture Association of America's Classification and Ratings Administration released their weekly bulletin this morning, which was full of new ratings for movies like The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Yogi Bear and Skyline. The latest Narnia movie was rated PG for "some frightening images and sequences of fantasy violence." The previous two entries were also rated PG, and combined to earn over $1.16 billion worldwide (just under two-thirds of this came from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). The Voyage of the Dawn Treader opens Dec. 10 opposite Johnny Depp-Angelina Jolie romantic thriller The Tourist.Yogi Bear was awarded a PG for "some mild rude humor." This was the same rating that accompanied the similar live-action talking animal Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, which have grossed over $800 million worldwide.
