If there was ever a film which title said it all it is this five minute short subject, Zac Efron's Pool Party has to be it. This looks like what it is a pool party at the pad of Zac Efron at that time in the first throes of stardom courtesy of the High School Musical series.

As you can see there's a long list of celebrities who walk in and out of the film and two other actors Thomas Lennon as Zac's rather gauche Uncle Hank and Nicole Sullivan as Uncle Hank's squeeze.

Uncle Hank comes from the partying side of Zac's family. Not any more to say here.

It's five minutes of my life I won't get back.

Reenactment alone does not define comedy

"Zac Efron's Pool Party" is a 5-minute mockumentary from 2009, so this one will have its 10th anniversary soon. You will find many names in the cast here that you may have come across in the world of entertainment. And the biggest (at least by 2009 standards) gets the title mention here, even if he does not have more screen time than the other celebrities appearing here, which is actually quite many given the brief runtime. So yeah, the sun is shining, the pool is ready and the "stars" are out. With Funnyordie in charge here, you probably guessed correctly that this is making fun of other pool party videos that were actually meant to be taken seriously. But it never works out from any perspective. It really is as unfunny, uninspired and bland as it gets. Extremely disappointing I must say. For most of the people in here, it was a last desperate attempt to come close to their big days or at least make some bucks. They only succeeded with the latter. A highly irrelevant little film. This is absolutely not a Funny, not a Die either, more like a suicide massacre.
