The First Of A Three-Part Story Which Will Include All 3 CSI Bosses
ccthemovieman-13 March 2011
This is the first of a unique trilogy in which all three CSI heads will play a role in solving a case of human trafficking. The second episode takes place in New York on that program, and third in the original Las Vegas CSI TV show.

The story begins in Miami, where a body parts of a young adult woman is found in the Everglades. It turns out she was from Las Vegas, so "Horatio Caine" calls up his counterpart in Vegas, "Ray Langston" to come and check things out and help solve this case.

It turns out to be a case of human trafficking. This victim has just been one of many who have kidnapped, drugged and then used for sex or other things. If they don't cooperate, they are hacked up and something their parts, such as the liver, is sold for people looking for a donor. It's all sick business as Caine and Langston find out, and "Mac Taylor" of CSI-NY as well.

At first, this looks like just one murder case, but it turns out to be much more....and an interesting one, at that. Some interesting sidebars include two of the Miami CSI guys coming face-to-face with a big bear. I didn't know those brown bears were down in Florida!

Expected More. Not Bad, Not Amazing, better than good but not quite great.

Not going to spoil the triple crossover like the other reviewer. I did expect the crossover to be more than just one CSI character coming to Miami. Yes, Dr Langston is the Vegas boss, but I feel it was a loss of an opportunity to draw more fans to watch CSI Miami. It would have been nice to have at least one other character from outaide of Miami. I think if they had set these episodes so that all three bosses were in all three Episodes, it would have been much more interesting. I do have to say that Dr Langston's show in the mortuary was great, very entertaining. Though Dr Loman is still awkward and his hero worship was just weird. The episode felt unfinished, like the the parts in Miami was unresolved excluding the parts of the case that went to NY.
