  Dan Humphrey : We're not dating. We are... uh... we're just hanging out.

  Serena van der Woodsen : Then, piece of advice? You should make sure she knows that. Because if Georgina likes somebody, she will go from zero to crazy before you know it. Good luck.

  Serena van der Woodsen : [Carter appears, she gets a kiss]  Hey...!

  Carter Baizen : I've been staying at the Downing. What do you say to a weekend of room service and white fluffy robes?

  Serena van der Woodsen : Can you afford a hotel? I thought your parents cut you off.

  Carter Baizen : Where there's a white fluffy robe, there's a way.

  [she gives that delightful chuckle of hers] 

  Carter Baizen : Unless you have plans tonight.

  Serena van der Woodsen : Well, not me, but maybe we?

  [attractive young girl in red dress walks by] 

  Serena van der Woodsen : There's this family thing tonight. It's an auction, but I thought...

  Aubrey : Carter?

  [bright smile, points at herself:] 

  Aubrey : Aubrey.

  [he doesn't respond] 

  Aubrey : We met at Brandy Library last month? You have no idea who I am, do you?

  Carter Baizen : No.

  [shakes his head] 

  Carter Baizen : But probably because I wasn't at Brandy Library last month.

  Aubrey : [chuckles]  Oh, okay, so I guess I had sex with another Carter Baizen who drinks his single malt with one ice cube and claimed to be leaving with the Peace Corps the next day.

  Carter Baizen : Sounds like a charming fellow.

  [Aubrey slaps him through the face and walks away] 

  Serena van der Woodsen : Mistaken identity?

  Carter Baizen : Obviously. You know I take my Scotch neat.

  [Serena rolls her eyes] 

  Carter Baizen : I have no idea who that woman is, Serena! That's- Hey, that's not me anymore.

  Serena van der Woodsen : Okay.

  Carter Baizen : What about tonight? You were gonna ask me something?

  Serena van der Woodsen : Uh, you know, it was- It was nothing, I... I... I'll call you later.

  Bree Buckley : [as Carter walks past parked limo, the window rolls down]  Carter Baizen.

  Carter Baizen : Bree Buckley.

  Bree Buckley : I heard through the grapevine you were back in New York... and dating Serena van der Woodsen no less.

  Carter Baizen : What do you want?

  Bree Buckley : Are you kidding? I'm headed home to face the family firing squad. Considering what you did to us, being able to find you will go a long way in getting me back in. I'm sure they'll be in touch. Oh, and, uhm, go ahead and run if you want. You know how much Daddy loves to hunt.
