WOW! An inspiring story of a Lost Boy (Kuek Garang) from Sudan who thought his parents died in the Sudanese civil war in 1983. He was six years old when he escaped to, first Ethiopia and then Kenya.

Kuek, now 28 years old, prepares for his trip to Sudan from his adopted hometown of Chicago in the USA. We get a glimpse of his daily routine.

Kuek is such an engaging person, his hope and his humanity shine through, it was amazing to see that, after all he has been through, he has no anger or hatred. Truly moving.

Gorgeous photography. The story is poetically told. I saw this film at the London International Documentary Film Festival. Brilliant film.
