- Jack goes to Washington to answer questions about GE, and discovers that his old nemesis, Devon Banks, is leading the investigation. Meanwhile, Jenna and Tracy find new ways to punish Liz for looking for new talent.
- When Devin returns to plot revenge against Jack, he needs to find a way to protect the company and his job's safety. Meanwhile, Tracy and Jenna both have reason to be angry with Liz and are determined to make her life miserable. Liz has to find a way to regain order over her life and the show. Outside of the studio, Kenneth devotes some of his spare time to volunteering at an animal shelter.—NBC Publicity
- Open with Liz walking by a book store and spotting her new book "Dealbreakers" sitting in the window. She happily points out to a male employee of the store that she wrote the book. He points out that he falls into one of the dealbreaker categories - men over 30 who wears a nametag to work - and begins punching the Liz Lemon cutout.
Jack is going to D.C. for to meet with a microwave taskforce. Despite the industry being down, Jack is adamant he will not take a bailout. Liz wants him to look for the retainer she lost during a junior high field trip.
Frank complains to Liz that he falls into several dealbreaker categories and it is ruining one of his relationships. Kenneth is going to start volunteering with animals.
Primariily because she's mad the show is looking for a new cast member, Jenna has agreed to star in a werewolf film that begins shooting in Iceland that night.
Tracy bought his wife "dealbreakers" and she is now angry at him.
Jack is shocked to see Devon Banks is part of the taskforce. Devon begins grilling Jack about GE's reckless spending.
Having been kicked out by his wife, Tracy shows up at Liz' door to stay with her.
Kenneth immediately starts getting attached to the dogs at the shelter and adopts every one that was scheduled to be put down.
Devon is waiting for Jack in his office when he returns from D.C. He has been planning his revenge for a year, getting close to the Obama administration (Sasha Obama, in particular) in order to get on the microwave taskforce. Devon plans to leak Jack's testimony in order to ruin the division. Jack responds that in just a few days he will make the microwave branch so profitable that it will overshadow any bad press from the taskforce.
Jenna calls Liz from Iceland. Iceland only has one minute of darkness each night, so they will be filming the movie one night at a time.
Tracy points out that much of "Dealbreakers" comes from his life. "You stole my life and you're going to pay for it," he says.
The next day Tracy adopts all of the dogs Kenneth has rescued. Jack wants the writers to help him work on new ideas for the microwave. The first two suggestions are to make them bigger and less reliable.
That night Jack suggests every microwave have four smaller doors and wheels.
Jenna basically blows the single take the Icelandic crew had for the night.
Liz and Tracy sit in Jack's office looking for help with their relationship. Jack thinks it's only fair that Tracy own Liz' life story. Jack tells her "the only way up, is back down," relaying a story of ice climbing with Connie Chung.
Jenna arrives back in New York with mercury poisoning from obsessively taking her temperature rectally.
The microwave design team realizes that they have failed, basically designing something that looks exactly like a Pontiac Aztec.
Liz is upset Tracy is ordering pay-per-view porn. Establishing that he must get back at her before things can get better, Liz agrees to allow Tracy to produce a porno movie based on her life. She will even write the scripts.
Devon shows up to gloat that Jack will be out at GE. Jack points out that if Devon offers him a bailout he will become Jack's boss. Devon gets on the phone with Sasha Obama to make it happen.
Liz writes into the porn a scene where she and Jenna make up. Jenna seems happier.
Jack ended up finding Liz' retainer. She pops it in her mouth and it gets stuck.
