One of the producers behind Lindsay Lohan's upcoming mobster movie has confirmed the "talented and beautiful" actress is still onboard the Gotti biopic despite her looming prison sentence.
The Mean Girls star recently signed a two-picture agreement with Fiore Films, with her first role starring alongside John Travolta, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci in Gotti: Three Generations, based on the real-life crime family.
Her involvement had been thrown into doubt after she was sentenced to 120 days behind bars for violating her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI charge. She will begin her jail stint next month, but producer Marc Fiore is adamant Lohan's prison time won't have an impact on her planned work schedule.
He tells reporters at the Cannes Film Festival in France, "Lindsay Lohan is a talented and beautiful actress, she is in the film and will be playing the role of Kim Gotti. She will also be co-starring in our next film, Mob Street."
Lohan broke her probation when she was accused of stealing a necklace from a California jewellery store earlier this year. She pleaded no contest to the charge.

Ashton Kutcher is officially the man to replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men," putting an end to speculation and rumors that have involved the likes of John Stamos, Rob Lowe and Hugh Grant. It's Kutcher's first return to scripted television in a regular role since "That '70s Show," and one has to wonder how the new gig will affect his future as a Hollywood movie star, for better or for worse.
Read about the rest of today's casting news past the jump, including Alex Pettyfer's new job as a stripper and Lindsay Lohan's continued will-she-won't-she association with "Gotti."

Amid ongoing speculation over whether Lindsay Lohan will actually appear in the film Gotti: Three Generations, the movie's producer Marc Fiore reiterated Friday that Lohan is set to play Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr.
"Lindsay Lohan is a talented and beautiful actress, she is in the film and will be playing the role of Kim Gotti. She will also be co-starring in our next film, Mob Street," Fiore, president of Fiore Films, said.

Hollywoodnews.com: We really won’t believe it until we see the final cut of the film, but “Gotti” producers confirmed this morning that Lindsay Lohan indeed will join John Travolta and Al Pacino in their planned film … and even landed a gig in a future film.
“Lindsay Lohan is a talented and beautiful actress, she is in the film and will be playing the role of Kim Gotti. She will also be co-starring in our next film, ‘Mob Street,’” Marc Fiore, president of Fiore Films, told THR.
Wow. Job security. That’s something new for Lohan, who has spent more time in a courtroom than on a movie set as of late. And plenty could change between now and when cameras roll. But for the time being, Lohan is part of the “Gotti” production, and not just being used to drum up publicity for a picture that needs it.

Los Angeles — Lindsay Lohan is joining the big screen Gotti family as the wife of John Gotti Jr. in a biopic of one of New York's most infamous families.
She called her casting in "Gotti: Three Generations" a huge honor and told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the film is an opportunity to prove herself as an actress again.
"I'm really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do," Lohan said.
John Travolta has been cast to play John Gotti Sr., the mob family's patriarch who had a flair for style and a knack for avoiding convictions that earned him the name "Teflon Don." Joe Pesci will play one of his deputies.
The younger Gotti has insisted he left the mob life in the 1990s, but has been unsuccessfully tried four times on racketeering charges.

After a case of hot and cold, Lindsay Lohan is officially signed to "Gotti: Three Generations". Instead of portraying Victoria Gotti as presumed, she would be Kim Gotti aka John Gotti Jr.'s wife. In addition, Lindsay also struck a deal with Marc Fiore's other production, "Mob Street" which screenplay is written by Chazz Palminteri.
"We're very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films," executive producer Marc Fiore tells Us Weekly in a statement. "She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti."
Earlier on Wednesday, April 20, Fiore announced that the actress was out of the project's negotiations. Rumor has it, Fiore could not meet the middle with her management team. But as it turned out, Lindsay was out of the talks...

Lindsay Lohan has signed to take on the role of Kim Gotti in the upcoming mob family biopic Gotti: Three Generations. The actress was previously linked to the part of Victoria Gotti, though it was later reported that she had dropped out of discussions on Wednesday after being unable to reach an agreement with project executives. However, she has since signed a deal to take on the role of alleged mob boss John Gotti's wife Kim not only in Three Generations but another project entitled Mob Street written by screenwriter Chazz Palminteri. Lindsay Lohan is back onboard John Travolta's new Gotti family biopic after signing on for back-to-back mob films produced by Fiore Films.
The news comes hours after Gotti: Three Generations executive producer, Mark Fiore, announced he was tired of negotiating a deal with Lohan's managers and urged the actress to get in touch with him directly - and it seems the actress has done just that.
Hours after he stated, "Maybe if Lindsay calls me up, we can talk about it," Fiore has announced the Mean Girls star has signed on to play Gambino family boss John Gotti's daughter-in-law Kim in the film as part of a two-picture deal.
The role was initially earmarked for reality TV star Kim Kardashian, according to insiders, while Lohan was formerly in negotiations to portray Gotti's daughter Victoria.
As part of the new deal, Lohan will also have a starring role in Fiore Films upcoming production of Mob Street, a movie based on a screenplay written by actor Chazz Palminteri.
Fiore tells WENN, "We're very pleased to have Lindsay onboard for both of these films. She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and, after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti."
Travolta will play Gotti in the film and Joe Pesci will play his right-hand man Angelo Ruggiero.
The project is still without a director after Nick Cassavetes quit the film earlier this week (beg18Apr11), due to a scheduling conflict.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. The latest bit of news on the John Gotti biopic front (Gotti: Three Generations just lost Nick Cassavetes as director earlier this week) is that Lindsay Lohan is no longer in consideration to play Victoria Gotti. Producer Marc Fiore told People [1] that talks with her reps had stopped, but didn't offer much by way of explanation. That seems to be the way it goes with Lindsay Lohan these days. More to the point, how things seem to go with her these days is 'crazy,' and the story has already taken another turn. Just as I was about to publish this, TMZ [2] comes out with the report that Lindsay Lohan is in the film after all, but now playing John Gotti Jr.'s daughter-in-law Kim, rather than Victoria Gotti. A smaller part? Probably. The report also links her to another movie called Mob Street. There...

Earlier this morning, tabloid fixture Lindsay Lohan was no longer being considered to play Victoria Gotti in Gotti: Three Generations, a biopic authorized by the family of notorious mobster John Gotti, starring John Travolta and Joe Pesci.
“She is no longer being considered,” producer Marc Fiore told TMZ. “The talks have stopped. We are going to meet with other people [for the role].” According to Fiore, demands from her management were “out of control” before adding, “I will only ride a merry-go-round with my kids.”
What a shame, right? But not much of a surprise considering she is still facing charges of felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a necklace from a jewelry store and her personal and professional history of unreliability. Wait, there’s hope (and desperation) for LiLo yet.
Lohan, 24, personally contacted Fiore to smooth things over and reportedly signed to play Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr. Of course,...

Lindsay Lohan is joining cast of Gotti: Three Generations as Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr. in the biopic. Lohan was initially up for the role of Victoria Gotti. Earlier we reported that she was not in consideration for the role, which makes sense because she was offered this role.
John Travolta will play the role of John Gotti Sr., and Joe Pesci will play one of his deputies. John Gotti Jr. has insisted he left the mob life in the 1990s, but has been unsuccessfully tried four times on racketeering charges. Marc Fiore of Fiore Films is developing the film after buying the rights to Gotti's book, which focuses on Junior Gotti's relationship with his father. The film is being shot on location in New York and is set for a 2012 release.

Well, that was fast. Just a few hours after the producer of Gotti: Three Generations said that Lindsay Lohan was "no longer being considered" for a role in the film, he's changed his mind. "She was definitely out as of earlier today, but she really wanted the part," Marc Fiore tells People. In fact, you could say Lohan made Fiore an offer he couldn't refuse. "She not only is back in the movie, but she single-handedly put it all together," says the producer. "She called me personally and put her team on it and we came to an agreement." He added that Lohan,...
