Huell meets Joe Rinaudo whose passion is a 1926 American Fotoplayer, which uses music rolls like those for player pianos to provide music and sound effects for silent films. Joe spent thousands of hours restoring his Fotoplayer. Although the "talkies" made them obsolete in the late 1920s, Huell discovers there is no better way to enjoy a silent movie than with Joe, his 1912 Powers Cameragraph hand-cranked projector, and his Fotoplayer. Joe shows off some other items in his collection including other early projectors and an Edison Gem portable phonograph. Lastly, Huell learns that Joe's passion for preserving old things carries over to his profession when they stop by Joe's shop, Rinaudo's Reproductions, where he restores and reproduces antique Victorian and Edwardian era lighting fixtures.
