As the writer would sit with his friends and the topic turned towards the growing number of bank scams in the country, the one sentiment he found echoing in the closed room discussions was that a good life is just a scam away. Then one day on reading an article where two men whose parents were bank employees opened and successfully ran a fake SBI branch till they were caught became the trigger for him to combine all of this into a potboiler crime drama.
The entire series was written during the lockdown and production began as soon as the lockdown opened. Shot and produced in record time. Raj Kaushal returned to making cinema after a long hiatus during which he had successfully established himself as a director creating touching AD Films for brands.
This series marks the debut of the writer Aman Khan in long format and is his official shift from being a successful advertising writer to this medium.
