The sins of the authors part 1 and 2-if you like justice: hands off
supermaggie17 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Silly, naive me, thinking that these crime shows are about clever detectives finding out who the bad guy is, catching them and putting him on trial - no, this show isn't, so if you want to see justice done (I do), this is NOT the right show for you (I wonder if it is the right show for anyone). Alright, it is about a crime, there is some suspense and at the end the viewers do get to know the guilty person, the culprit, however, gets to walk and a pretty innocent guy is being doomed for it. And (massive spoiler alert:) the detective could have easily prevented this/made it right by telling the lawyer that J./the real culprit left/was gone for the hour of the killing so the lawyer could have called him in court and cross-examined him to his whereabouts for this crucial period of time under oath, and since J. was pretty ready to talk I am sure he would not have lied in court. Frustrating? Absolutely. And that's not all. In addition you have to bear a psychopath child torturing, maiming, killing swans and other animals - and there is no real justice for this either. On the DVD there are two other episodes, but I won't bother watching them - "the sins of the authors" have been more than enough.
