Warning: Spoilers
On the back of an episode with the wrong tone, we have an episode with an uncertain tone.Mink is a somewhat conflicted character who, as Romeo points out, doesn't consider fun and fights to be mutually exclusive and will probably end up causing trouble. Her punching John Palmer is symptomatic of the problems of this episode, portrayed neither as something we're supposed to cheer or something completely out of line.

Liam's storyline hopefully brings a certain chapter of his life to a close, as he makes sure he faces the consequences of his actions, getting hospital treatment and police action.Rachel is somewhat cold towards him and there seems to be a bond building between him and Martha.

Ruby continues to try and improve things for the refugees but seems to be fighting an uphill battle. She's treating John as the enemy but doesn't recognise the real enemy until it's too late. The final scenes, with a riot breaking out in Summer Bay, just happen without any sort of build-up whatsoever.Although John's likely to be blamed, things are a lot more complicated than that:Ruby wrongly believes that everyone thinks the same as her, John fails to realise the consequences of a few misspoken words, Hazem tries to be noble but ends up being dragged into things, Irene and Leah end up getting caught up in something they didn't anticipate. It leaves a lot of characters in danger but it is something of a handbrake turn.
