A fight

Warning: Spoilers
Director and writer Kelsey Bollig survived a near-death experience to tell this story of, well, a near-death experience. Lilly (Emma Pasarow) must survive three levels of living hell to return from the near-dead which ends up looking like scenes from horror movies and Mortal Kombat, which I can totally endorse.

You have to love when someone tells an incredibly personal story and does it with fight scenes involving ninjas and demons. More people should follow the model that this film has set, but then again, this is so original and well-done, they'll find themselves wanting in comparison. I loved it.

In clothes of horror, a beautiful eulogy of life. Simple, precise, poetic, inspired by personal experience, reminding fundamental things defining our reality. Well acted, well crafted, it becomes be, scene by scene, more a religious film.

And, in some measure, it is its best virtue.

Because all is clear, as a sort of kick or encouragement to the fair perspective of life as permanent confrontation. In short, a good short film about family, demons more real by what you suppose, about the connection, so useful, with late beloved ones and about the gentle remind of fundamental truths.

In short, just inspired.
