"This is all my fault"

Warning: Spoilers
Almost unbearable in places.Kirsty is even more withdrawn than Miles was last episode and by the end of the episode, blaming herself for what's happened, she seems to have completely lost her grip on reality. Miles struggles to cope and uncharacteristically loses his temper with Jai.It's a shame that we've got the Jai/Annie/Romeo love triangle in the middle of this, it'd be nice if they could put it to one side in the face of tragedy. At least Romeo's a bit more likable than he has been recently, jury's still out on Annie and Jai sort of veers back and forth with one too many snappy comment.Leah's guilt is subtly played although Irene is rather wasted.Shame there's no sign or mention of Nicole in another example of the show limiting the number of episodes characters appear in.

The year-long mystery continues to drag all at snail's pace and makes you wonder how many episodes there are left this year(28...).The flashback to bring us up to speed was a good idea because no-one's going to remember a conversation from eight months ago but the fact it features Geoff and Nicole as a couple shows how long this has been going on for.The plot line sums up everything that's wrong with this show at times:Too many guest characters and a mystery where most of the audience are about five steps ahead of the writers and the characters. There's still no way of knowing whether Hugo's involved or not, Angelo's attempts to find out are woefully inept, the rest of the police are even more inept. And Wayan, a character whose name still hasn't been spoken in dialogue on his fourth appearance, runs off and probably gets himself killed, thus stopping the plot line from progressing any further.
