So, it's farewell to Jai, seemingly for good, farewell to Annie for a while and farewell to Irene for a...bit.It's good that the tension between Annie and Jai seems to have gone, it's bad enough they've split them up without having them leave as enemies. The romance between Annie and Romeo gets thrust into high gear but there's very little character development involved.Annie's comment about them having something special is probably her most childish moment of the episode. Jai gets some good moments with Miles, Alf and Annie before leaving but the absence of Kirsty, Ruby and Xavier from the episode is palpable.Geoff is nicely characterised throughout, with only his harsh judgement of Jai making him seem annoying.

The subplot with Miles and Leah is badly underdeveloped. There's absolutely no reaction from Miles to the fact Leah might have caused Kirsty's miscarriage and then a few scenes later he announces that it wasn't her fault anyway.

The Aden/Nicole/Liam quasi-triangle takes a few interesting turns here. Aden shows notable restraint, even in his confrontation with Liam at the Diner which is probably his most aggressive moment, while Liam gives Nicole some bad advice that she ends up regretting.Keeping up with the theme of nobility running throughout the episode, it ends with Liam choosing to do what's best for her.
