The mystery storyline continues to limp along at snail's pace although the arrest of Derrick here does suggest that things might finally be happening.Hugo's behaviour can be interpreted as either a bewildered innocent bystander or a clever manipulator once again and it could still go either way with regards his involvement in the people smuggling.Charlie and Angelo's relationship seems to have taken a back seat recently with them coming across as little more than work colleagues.
Hugo and Martha's relationship seems to be back on track after he makes a few promises and concessions although there continues to be some ambiguity about his last scene with Suzy.Is he really planning to abandon Martha and go with her or was it just a ploy to get rid of her?
Pleasingly we do finally get some follow-up to Xavier abandoning Romeo at the party although it's quickly forgotten.Xavier discovers Gina's friendship with John and is typically petulant about it.John is a potentially interesting character because there are so many grey areas to him and hopefully they won't make him either too black or too white.
