Good episode
aboalhyjaa2 January 2023
This is the second episode i have watched after Green(episode 2) and I believe it lived up to the hype of episode 2 and maybe even out hyped it!

Violet is a noble color, it associates with luxury and wealth. And i don't believe that the name of the episodes so far is just named by chance. Because as we saw here, this whole episode is about these things and lacking of it.

Unlike the second episode, its a bit sad. Filled with old school American racism and the end of a character that they're death shaped the events for other characters in the future.

Overall, a good episode, could've been great though!

Now, im gonna watch episode 4(Orange).

Solid flashback episode
Mesina0230 January 2023
Out of all the episodes, I believe this is the one where you can watch it in whatever order it is placed in and it wouldn't ruin the pacing of the whole show. If you watched it from the start, you would start to get an understanding of Ray and the path he will be set on. If you watched it near the end, then you would see why Ray is doing all this and the motivation he has in doing this heist.

This is my third last episode (only ones left being pink and white) and I'm glad that this episode was placed here. It makes the heist seem more valuable than what I initially thought. There's a lot more at stake here and this was a good episode to showcase why that is.

This made me cry

I was on my exercise bike as usual, watching Netflix. Kaleidoscope is one of those shows. This is Leo's origin story, it's sweet...we see his family. His wife and child really do well as actors.

All I have to say is, the writers really knew how to pull on our heart strings. I bawled my eyes out on my bike, so I had to stop riding, this never happens. The good attempt at a family life, an adorable daughter and sweet wife...all so portrayed well on my big screen. This episode is certainly a departure from the others, some say it may be slow, but it's the character development we need. My favorite of the series.

The Episode that Brought the Series Down to Earth
Saint_Rinzler6 January 2023
The first 2 episodes of this series were quite good. Well-written and acted, with the promise of a non-linear storyline that will break up the usual heist/revenge formula. Then episode 3 dropped.

It's obvious the writer was given a "here's where you start and here's where you need to be", and he got there by plot contrivances, shallow secondary characters, and eye-rolley conveniences that allowed the episode to end where it was supposed to end. I can't express how jarring the secondary characters and extras one-dimensional, stereotypical behavior broke up the experience.

Before this episode I had almost forgotten this was Netflix.

When I'm 64
TheRealSylar1 February 2023
Oh dear when an actor is 64 and it says 24 years before therefore he's supposed to be 40? I just couldn't get past it, in this episode the plot is good but neither of the main actors look any different than 60 year olds with dodgy wigs and prosthetics. Two decent younger actors would have made this much better than trying to dress up the main ones.

They say it makes no difference what order you watch these in so maybe that's why they can't risk using different actors. Either way unless you watch this one first you are going to be wondering what is wrong with his face all the way through This episode.
