a boy. and a cow
Kirpianuscus1 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It reminds, for atmosphere, tension, ambiguity, for white- black image, too, The White Ribbon by Michael Haneke.

In same measure, for names of kids, attitude of father , cow and light ball, it is a religious film.

A horror, in same measure, especially for music.

A blind boy abbandoned on a field. Intense wind. The idea of sacrifice or rite of innitiation seems be the premises.

Another boy looking for help him . An anounce, a terrible rain, vain effort of the elder boy , refuged in a sort of box, to save the other.

A young man saves a poor cow. But his father refuse to help the animal.

And the young man obeys him. But the angry, inspired by new acid rain, becomes more powerful. And it becomes radical gesture.

The meaning of gestures and dialogue becomes, scene by scene, the task of viewer.

In short, a not comfortable story, defined by ambiguity and remarkable cinematography.
