Another deb centred episode which, pleasingly, manages to find roles for almost all the characters, even if it does stretch things at times. Even though he seems to be copping flack from every direction (Kate, Declan, Sophie), Harry manages to hang onto his newly-rediscovered nobility and go the extra mile to avoid stuffing things up for Sophie. And it turns out he's much better at finding Kate a partner than anyone else:Kate picks Lou, Susan's choice of Toadie is only marginally better and Donna seemingly just gives up.
The deb outfits aren't exactly the best on offer:Donna's is kinda classy but Sunny's really isn't her at all and Zeke's quiff is about fifty years out of date. There's a nice moment where Libby and Steph tell Donna they think the dress she hates is gorgeous and then we discover they were just being polite. But the abiding image is Declan and Kate, brilliantly nervous around each other but obviously wanting to go together, and that rescue at the end.
