This one's nice.The teens get to let their hair down and have fun and Amanda gets the routine ritual humiliation that bad girls in this sort of series get.Ringo trying not to let her hold...anything as he escorts her down the aisle is a nice moment.There seems to be a decent budget thrown at the episode as well, with a new set(or real hall) packed full of extras.
Of course, the focus is on Kate and Declan, who are shaking up to be a decent couple.Kate spends a fair portion of the episode wandering around in her underwear(sweetly, she holds her dress in front of her when Declan's there)and it's nice that Declan's the one to talk her into going back out and facing everyone after Amanda's dented her confidence.Her dance performance is okay despite the use of a fairly obvious body double.
Toadie gets some nice comments, especially his rather pathetic dancing for Jason, but Lucas and Elle don't really feel like they belong in this episode(why are they at a dance full of teenagers?), especially at the end when Lucas is left learning why you shouldn't propose in front of half of Erinsborough.
