- Yuiichi Katagiri, the protagonist of the series, can be quite frightening as the audience sees him show his true psychopathic and manipulative nature as the show progresses.
- As most psychological thrillers, this one portrays its' characters, their personalities, motives and actions quite realistically which can make them more disturbing at times.

- A guy's nails are ripped off and his hand is stabbed 3 times with a knife, but this is a torture method not meant to get the character killed.
