Yes, no doubt I am an Evans Family Fan, nevertheless, the movie has great educational, religious and cinematic value. I've never been to Israel, but after seeing the movie, one leaves the theater with beautiful photographic images of Bethlehem, Cana, Capernaum, the Dead Sea, the Mount of Olives and last but not least...Jerusalem!
"Journey with Jesus", informs the audience that everywhere where Jesus journeyed and performed a miracle, a magnificent church has been erected to commemorate the works of Christ. To a true believer, it doesn't matter whether the topography of Jesus' travels are 100% precise! In fact, the documentary makes the disclaimer and the viewer is left with the decision to believe whether the area discussed is the actual site or not.
One movie cannot and should not be the full discourse of Jesus. But this one sure does spotlight Jesus and in the process it highlights the Evans' Family love, trust and dependence upon Jesus.
Journey with Jesus was worth my $17.50!
