When Joe Morelli is taping the wire to Stephanie's body, her bra is revealed to be dark purple. After she puts her shirt back on, in the next scene, a piece of her bra is visible under her armpit and is a light color, white or beige.
In addition to Stephanie referring to her cousin as "Sgt" Gazarra, we see him wearing both the single bar of the Lieutenant on his collar, and the double bars of a Capt. He obviously didn't get promoted, as we later see him wearing the Lt. bar again.
When Stephanie begins eating french fries in the diner, she picks up two fries from the plate when seen in the head-on shot. When the angle changes to the side view, she is only holding one. This happens several times while she is eating.
While Stephanie is eating french fries and talking to Ranger, the ketchup bottle turns repeatedly between shots.
At the gun range, she fires the gun 12 times straight without stopping even though it is a 5-shot revolver.
Although Stephanie Plum buys a 5-shot revolver, she shoots six or more shots out of the gun on more than one occasion, the first being at the target range and the second when she kills Jimmy Alpha.
At 79:02 Stephanie Plum shoots Jimmy Alpha 7 times. The entire movie the kept emphasizing that she had a 5 shot snub nose. She couldn't have fired 7 shots.
The second lock picking scene where Stephanie picks a padlocked door is inaccurate. The tool she is using is a bypass knife not a pick. A bypass knife is used to exploit certain poorly manufactured locks, which does not include the BEST branded lock used in the movie. You can also see the tension wrench being held nowhere inside the lock tumbler in her right? hand. There is no way this lock would actually open with this manner of picking.
In the first lock picking scene ranger is picking a door knob. The tension wrench used is being held with a full grip and rotated CCW. The CCW may be correct but, tension wrenches are turned with a light pressure of the thumb to receive "feedback" from the pins. Gripping a tension wrench like this would make it almost impossible to pick a lock.
When the driver's side window of "Big Blue" is shown broken in the close-up, shattered safety glass is shown crumbled all the way down to the door frame, and is visible several inches above it. When Stephanie is shown opening the door and getting in from a wide shot, there is no broken glass in the window, nor anywhere around it on the ground.
At the end of the movie when Stephanie follows Sal's truck it is clearly day light and most probably around noon when she goes to the boat and Joe meets him still daylight when they hear shots fired again it is daylight . Bu when they reach the truck it is total darkness and the distance between boat & truck is not too much.
When Stephanie is given the warrant for Joe Morelli, he is described on it as having black hair and brown eyes. The actor playing the role, Jason O'Mara, has light brown hair and very blue eyes.
The keys Grandma Mazur hands to Stephanie are house keys, not keys to Big Blue.
Stephanie's cousin-in-law, police officer Gazarra has a name plate on his desk that says "Lt. Gazarra" but later in the movie Stephanie refers to him as "Sergeant Gazarra".
