The uniform worn by Chief Constable Stockton has epaulettes with two pips and a crown. However, the crown is shown below the pips. This is incorrect because British protocol dictates that, 'nothing surmounts the crown.' In other words, the crown should have been above the pips on the epaulettes.
At the Chinese herbal shop Murdoch uses a 5-cent piece the size of a modern day nickel. But that style of coinage wasn't adopted until 1921, and before then 5-cent pieces were made of silver and were smaller than a modern day dime.
