Occupational Hazards

Warning: Spoilers
Before Jamie got married, I once answered a question on Quora on why it's difficult for the Reagans to find love. I think this episode is highlights the reason. To paraphrase my answer, their professional lives require them of be skeptical of everyone they come across. This often becomes an occupational hazard in their personal lives.

This is especially true for Frank, as he occupies the second most powerful office in NYC. How can Frank build any romance when he (almost) immediately connects Sloane with the NYPD network outage? What about investigating on why Sloane left London, and asking her directly about the details of it? Those may be legitimate questions to ask in a professional setting, but they're buzz killers.

Definitely not a feminist..

Warning: Spoilers
Buttttt... I'm not actually complaining because hello, still a 10/10 so just pointing this out. There were exactly 5 females that were either in law enforcement or had previously been law enforcement in this episode. Two of them ended up in a hospital after being shot ON SEPARATE OCCURRENCES and a third woman had been sexually harassed by a coworker. Also, one of the two shot was pregnant and failed to notify and is almost overlooked for a potential promotion. For real?! All in one episode? Y'all didn't want to maybe spread that around? Because if someone like me noticed all of this then believe many more actual feminists would. I love Blue Bloods. I've watched since day one so truly, I'm not complaining though some would probably challenge that. Just pointing out some areas that others could/would pick apart.
