This was a fairly good episode. It didn't have that many funny parts, but it had a good plot. The Lisa and Nelson plot was much more interesting then the subplot.

Lisa plot- 9/10 Nelson is my favorite character. It was great to see him as a main character again. Although, I do think that it's strange the first two episodes of this season revolve around Lisa, and I usually don't like Lisa episodes, this was very good. I loved the ice skating scene at the end, and Mark's constant facebook updates. I also loved Skinner's reaction to 11 dollars.

Homer plot- 6/10 This wasn't as good or exciting, but it was okay. It had a funny part, but it just seemed like they tried to hard here. Like a lot of the episodes in seasons 11-19. Not much to say here.

This was a good episode. It reminds me of the earlier seasons for some reason. Watch this episode!

Loan a Lisa is a great Simpsons episode guest starring creator of Facebook and billionaire Mark Zuckenburg and a small cameo as shown on Lisas lab top from Muhammad Yunas,both of them playing themselves.

Grampa gives each of the Simpsons $50 and they each try to find a way to spend it,and Lisa uses the money to help Nelson Muntz out for his new bike company,but when he starts making a lot of money,Nelson considers to drop out of school.

Meanwhile Homer and Marge keep buying expensive things from the mall and returning it without any damage done making them not have to pay all the money for it.

Insightful and Entertaining

"Loan-a Lisa" is an episode that manages to be both informative and enjoyable to watch. One of the strengths of this episode is its numerous cultural references, which provide insight into topics such as microloans. While some of these references may go over the heads of casual viewers, they provide an opportunity for those interested in learning more to delve deeper into the topics.

However, not all of the jokes in this episode land as well as they could. Some of the humor comes across as weak or forced, and it's clear that the writers were trying too hard to be funny in certain scenes. This can be a bit distracting at times and may take away from the overall enjoyment of the episode.

The episode deals with the tender story of how Lisa donates a microloan to Nelson to make his bicycle repair shop dream come true, and the secondary plot is enjoyable to watch, concerning Homer and Marge abusing the luck of being able to return expensive purchased items.
