"Remember that little kid in The Sixth Sense?"
skteosk14 April 2010
Warning: Spoilers
One great and intriguing storyline and two dreary and unbelievably stupid ones.First, the plus point:Miles and Rabbit, the best double act on television. It seems as though we're finally getting some answers except in fact all we're getting are more questions. The two most popular explanations for Rabbit-that she's the ghost of Miles' daughter and that Miles is suffering from some mental illness-are both discussed but it seems as though the first is dismissed and the second would be too simple.Their little private jokes as the straight-laced adults look on in bemusement are the highlight of the episode.

Minus point No.1:Romeo and Annie. One of the most unconvincing couples in the show's history, it seems as though both their personalities have had to be changed completely to make it work.Annie has gone from a shy and sensitive girl into an acerbic, domineering nuisance while Romeo has gone from a wisecracking surfer to an insecure wreck.Worse, we're told that he was always an insecure wreck until he came to Summer Bay. Which would be fine if he wasn't an old friend of Jai's who remembered him as a fun-loving ladies' man.

Minus point No.2:Aden.All his character development from the last few months goes out the window and instead he gets turned back into an idiot who thinks he's above the law, lying to Rachel and turning amateur detective in a way that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.Add in Justin's comment about Aden's abuse which completely contradicts what he said when he first turned up and the police's apparent inability to find a body only a few yards from the crash site and all interest in the storyline evaporates.
