When I saw the advert for this show, I thought it was going to be as fun to watch as something like Comic Aid, and while it was certainly fun, it wasn't quite as good. Basically many talents of comedy and television gather together at London's O2 Arena to play to an audience of 16,000 in aid of the charity Great Ormond Street Hospital. Talents in the show include Bill Bailey, John Bishop, Kevin Bishop (playing Darren Brown and Gok Wan, in front of the real Derren Brown and Gok Wan), Christine Bleakley, Jo Brand, Kevin Bridges, Rob Brydon, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr (appearing in the advert break getting involved, e.g. squeezing the nuts of the Go Compare opera guy), James Corden as Himself and Gavin & Stacey's Smithy, Jack Dee, Lee Evans (who wins a special awarded for his contribution to comedy), Noel Fielding, Rich Hall, Ruth Jones as Gavin & Stacey's Nessa, Shappi Khorsandi, Patrick Kielty, Sean Lock, Jason Manford, Michael McIntyre, David Mitchell as Himself and Mark Corrigan in a Peep Show sketch with Robert Webb as Jeremy Osborne, Fonejacker's Kayvan Novak as Terry Tibbs in the flesh, Sharon Osbourne, Andy Parsons, Katie Price (Jordan) and Alex Reid, Jonathan Ross, Catherine Tate as Nan, Mark Watson, Jack Whitehall, Stomp and many more, with voice overs by The X Factor's Peter Dickson. I think the only reason it wasn't great was because the comedians I had seen many times before, most of them were using material I had seen and heard before, but for the ones that didn't, or that I like too much to care, I enjoyed it. Very good!
