"What are you doing next week?"

So, one longstanding question is answered and another longstanding question...starts to get answered and then doesn't.Charlie, it turns out, didn't know Hugo was still alive, which flatly contradicts interviews but actually makes complete sense in terms of the actual show, given that Angelo kept her away from the discussions. At one point, it also seems as though Angelo knows about the note Hugo left Xavier but later scenes suggest that his mention of the money was sheer coincidence.Nice double-meaning in the scene where Charlie assures Martha that Angelo is just doing his job.

Miles' attachment to Rabbit gets brought into question again as Elijah considers the cost of his refusal to let her go.It all leads into a nice existential discussion between the show's best double act and it's nice that Alf is willing to let things be.

The school play is used to bring Annie and Romeo's relationship into sharp focus and, although we aren't told, it's pretty clear that Annie's days are numbered.Despite Colleen's talk of separation being romantic and Romeo's claim that he doesn't want them to just disappear, the relationship is sweet but ultimately disposable.
