Ending is so Unacceptable

Warning: Spoilers
(I must open with I was both a USN USMC Corpsman, and Later a BSN RN USN Nurse Corps Offices and Trained & worked in Psychiatric Care in Both Positions). What LJ the teenager goes thru in the Family; and basically does what he sees as only teaching his parents a lesson. When Lightman goes thru to compare how his childhood vs LJ childhood goes thru is not the same. Physical from a Drunk Father vs Psychological of a Officer Trained father don't compare and if Lightman has the Training he is supposed to do he would know this. The Idea of comparing the childhoods is good; but somewhere Lightman could have discussed how the comparing was to make LJ think, but PTSD they both went thru were/are very different. This should have ended with Lightman in LJ (Court Case?) how LJ needs help and how LJ was only seeing what he did as the Only way to possibly get his parents to what they are doing to the family. How this Ended was like a Season Cliff Hanger, but with the Audience knowing this was a Cliffhanger they would NOT get a proper ending. This ended looking like Lightman didn't care that LJ probably would be going to Prison, and LJ Father should have at least asked where they are Taking LJ, and he (father) would be there soon to help his son.

Predictable Episode
claudio_carvalho3 February 2024
The baby Kim is the pride of joy of Sargeant Lane Bradley, the chief of the Bradley family composed by his wife Colette and his teenage son LJ. Colette goes to a pharmacy to buy a diaper rash cream, and she leaves Kim sleeping alone in the car for a couple of minutes. When she returns, the baby is missing. There is a press release and Colette lies, telling to the viewers that Kim was kidnapped. Cal feels that the woman is lying and decides to help the investigation. Soon he learns that the Bradley family is dysfunctional, with many secrets and betrayals, and Lane is not the biological father of Kim.

"Gone" is another predictable episode of "Lie to Me". There are many secrets in the Bradley family, but the kidnapper is easy to be discovered. Doug Hutchison is very different in this show, but his name is a plus in the credits. It is not clear that the Bradley family will be mended in the future. My vote is eight.
