Rogue Cops
claudio_carvalho21 January 2024
When the police officer Nick Hardy is shot in an apartment building with many drug dealers, he is quadriplegic, unable to move or speak. Two youngsters are caught and Dr. Lightman is hired to identify whether they were the shooters. Officer Hardy identifies that both were at the crime scene and one of them is the shooter. Meanwhile, Cal is helping Clara Musso in a business meeting, and she offers forty-thousand dollars a week to follow him to learn his skills. Dr. Foster suggests Cal asks Clara to help The Lightman Group, since it is short of money since Cal bought Zoe's share. Lightman, Ben Reynolds and Captain James visit the drug dealer Tevon, who is the suspect to give the gun to the youngsters, but Cal sees that he is not guilty. When he talks to a young girl, Olivia, he learns that the dweller Mr. Jenkins is dead and corrupt cops removed his body from his apartment. Now the investigation goes to another direction.

"Teacher and Pupils" is another great episode of "Lie to Me". Melissa George seems to be a frequent participant in the show, what is wonderful. The plot of corruption in the police department is usual in films and series, and this time Cal find the group of rogue police officers. My vote is eight.

How can this episode get rated so highly when it's so terrible?

It's absolutely terrible in every possible way and full of plot holes and logical errors. This episode must have been written by a 12 year old kid who doesn't know how common sense and logic works in the real world.

No wonder TV shows are so bad when people rate garbage like this so high. The bar is set so low that literally every TV show gets 8 and above no matter how bad they are. This is the biggest problem with TV shows today. People adore garbage and TV producers produce nothing but garbage like this one because apparently this is what people want to see.
