A Stylish Copy of Charlie's Angels
mannuskyhigh21 June 2011
When this series came out in 2000, it was widely panned around the industry. May be it was way ahead of its time. Sony Entertainment and UTV joined hands to bring a stylish thriller featuring three beautiful girls that fight crime with style. Inspired heavily from Charlie's Angels, the three girls works for the Guy - not to mention 'Charlie' who assigns them dangerous cases to solve. Most of the cases in the show were copied from the western series but there were few episodes that were quite Impactful -like 'Hostage' and 'Talash'(search).

Coming to performances, every did a decent job whether it was Nafisa Joseph, Karminder Kaur or Malini Sharma. But the star was the show was none other than 'Kuljeet Randhawa' Who later replaced Karminder and was quite appreciated for her act. Kuljeet nailed it because she was apt for the part. The show came to an end soon because the Indian audiences couldn't digest women being 'Brave' on screen, Which is why such genre shows even don't work today. Women in Sarees crying all the time - that is what the audience want. That's why there is no quality on Indian Television.

But What ironic is that this show is considered a 'Jinx' just because Nafisa and Kuljeet committed suicide which was rather depressing. May their souls rest in peace and they will always be remembered for this series.
