- Alison DiLaurentis: [Hanna's dream vision] You think the truth is some big shiny disco ball of purity? Then go ahead and try it. Be honest. See what it gets you. Telling the truth to the wrong person at the wrong time is how I ended up where I am. Take it from me... you're always better off with a really good lie.
- Ashley Marin: [after hit-and-run, to her daughter Hanna in hospital] When they find the maniac who did this to you, I will kill him. After I kill him, I'll sue him.
- Jenna Marshall: [blind] I'm not gonna let anyone come between us again.
- [stands up, walks past Emily]
- Emily Fields: Someone should have come between you two a long time ago. Maybe a social worker with a bucket of ice water.
- Jenna Marshall: I can't imagine why everybody thinks you're the sweet one.
- Emily Fields: [in hospital] Toby isn't A.
- Spencer Hastings: Well, Hanna knows who is. That's why A tried to kill her.
- Emily Fields: Think they're just trying to scare us?
- Aria Montgomery: Well, it worked.
- Spencer Hastings: This was never about scaring us. That was just a bonus. And... this started with murder. We were crazy to think that it wouldn't end up like this.
- Emily Fields: So should we tell the cops?
- Aria Montgomery: Tell them what?
- Emily Fields: Everything.
- Spencer Hastings: We don't know everything.
- Aria Montgomery: So, what do we do?
- Spencer Hastings: Well, we talk to Hanna before we do anything.
- Aria Montgomery: [concerned] Is Hanna safe here?
- Spencer Hastings: Yeah. I mean, nothing will happen to her while her Mom is with her.
- Aria Montgomery: You don't make me unhappy. I, uh... I mean, you totally mess me up and I feel miserable sometimes, but you don't make me unhappy. And... I wasn't unhappy the other night.
- Ezra Fitz: But?
- Aria Montgomery: But...
- [sighs]
- Aria Montgomery: would you go back if you could? If you knew that it would be this complicated, would you have even... talked to me that first day in the bar?
- Hanna Marin: [to Lucas] You know, being friends with somebody... that can be more important sometimes than... getting to know them in a different way.
