The rather curious storyline of Callum wanting to be a stand-up comedian and Toadie...not wanting Callum to be a stand-up comedian continues.Quite why this profession is such a turn off is as yet unexplained.Lucas' phone call is a nice way of bringing Dan back into the show and may even advance a long-running and somewhat stagnant storyline.
The even more curious storyline of "Who exactly are we meant to sympathise with in the Lassiter's power games" continues as well.Paul, a crook, stomps around accusing everyone of betraying him, while Declan, his weak-willed accessory, chucks Andrew around a bit and, um, accuses him of betraying him.We all know that Paul's not going to receive any real comeuppance for his actions and it's not entirely clear why we're supposed to care about the fact that he might.Andrew and Natasha have some good material together.Chris continues to hang around Summer like a spare part.
