Dismal with no Stars
artpf17 October 2013
Josh Malina's deceased dad had been a baker. The dad forced Malina to eat it every day. Malina wants to get a toaster so he can toast the last piece of bread that his dad baked and sprinkle it on his grave as a form of revenge. He sends Panes to the bank to open an account and get a free toaster. Through a series of mishaps, Panes ends up robbing the bank and forcing himself, Malina and Black to become fugitives. Meanwhile the bank teller gets fired and opens up an entirely separate subplot. The rest of the show is a surprise.

It's horrible. Touted as having some of the biggest stars and then guess what? You won't recognize anyone!

The story line is short bus stoopid and the entire production is simply uninteresting.

Regrettably that is twenty minutes I will never get back. Fortunately I was multitasking.

I made it twenty minutes in, at the start of the fourth chapter, some guy I don't know was on a profanity laced tirade that seemed totally unnecessary and provided no comedic value. There were some interesting actors but no one to provide direction for the script or maybe the hosts were speaking freely with no direction or purpose. Either way, I now regret spending so much time on this review, essentially wasting another five minutes. In a nutshell, avoid this. Sit in the dark with the TV off for an hour and a half to redeem the time.

Some of the funniest parts are the opening sequences a la Masterpiece theater featuring various celebrities. This show is hysterical and original. The acting is phenomenal. A lot of slapstick as well. Even a little Liza Minelli in drag.

This was one of the funniest dumb charming and outrageous movies. It was originally made into "episodes ". The info on the actors is incorrect.young Fleming was played by DANEEL mitchell. Not Daniel mitchell. Two different actors.
