Exceptional Adventure Series

DO NOT WATCH THIS SERIES IF YOU ARE CONTENT WITH AN AVERAGE EXISTENCE and don't want a fire lit beneath that adventure in life that you've been dreaming of for years and never had the courage to explore. (Keep a note pad with ya when you watch it to jot down those inspirations as they come) This is the story of some really likable characters that had all the excuses that you and I do, but did it anyway, throwing away the security of day jobs to put everything they've got with the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to have the adventure of a lifetime. 'Reality TV' has staged and cheapened the concept that really appeals to people, seeing folks that you identify with go through the good and the bad of a life well lived. This show takes you into the technical aspects of planning and executing an expedition and incorporates the story of the characters and the local communities they become a part of along the way.

I love What Megan does always the one to dare! Such a enjoyment to watch.

Difficult to watch

This had the makings of an interesting adventure, but unfortunately Meghan tries so hard at enthusiasm, humour and positivity that it starts to really grind. Her interviews with Island folk at times seemed condescending. Her best scenes were when she was much quieter, less chatty and real. Would have been nice to hear from others in the "cast". It came across as if they were too embarrassed by the whole thing to speak. Kudos to the Captains that tolerated the incessant chatter.

The story line is good and would be a whole lot better if the background music would not be so loud that you can't understand what is being said. Very poor sound mixing. Meghan is a bit annoying and they could have made this better by having others say a little more and more often. Also whenever they are on the sail boat...THE KIDS SHOULD HAVE LIFE JACKETS ON. OMG what are they thinking!

Gave this only a 4 because it could have been much better.
