- The female party members have quite a few revealing armor sets. Melia has only a few, but the seventh party member has several. Most of Sharla's armor sets are very revealing.
- You have the option to completely remove all of the character's equipment and they are shown from the whole body down, though they are wearing undergarments.
- Some NPC characters wear skimpy clothing, some showing mild cleavage.

- Dunban coughs up some blood early in the game while trying to use the Monado. A later area also shows some blood stains on the ground.

- Mild profanities.
- "Damn" and "Hell" are used a few times. "B*stard" is also used once during the Future Connected story in the Nintendo Switch version.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- There is one major sidequest chain. That features an underground crime ring that deals out a highly addictive fictional substance known as Highmore Caviar.
- That same sidequest chain features an alcoholic Nopon NPC who is shown to be obviously drunk multiple times.
- Dickson is shown smoking a cigar multiple times toward the end of the game.

- The giant character Arglas who is shown a few times in the game is naked. There aren't any explicit details, but we do see his naked bottom in a few shots.
Violence & Gore
- A few characters are stabbed by a main villain named Metal Face. Blood is shown on his claws each time.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The awakening of the Bionis is an intense and tragic sequence. Many named characters die or are transformed into monsters. Multiple side quests after this point require you to hunt down the people that were transformed to put them out of their misery.
