With the 85th Academy Awards coming up this weekend, I thought it would be a good time to post this fun video featuring kids reenacting this year's Best Picture nominees including Argo, Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty, Django Unchained, and Beasts of the Southern Wild. The video segments were brought to us by Kids Reenact creator Jared Neumark and Official Comedy. It turned out to be pretty adorable and entertaining, I hope you enjoy it!

To hell with the Oscars, let's just watch these kids make more movies like this. BuzzFeed has released this adorably entertaining video from Kids Reenact creator Jared Neumark of Landline TV, which partnered with Official Comedy, to produce these quick segments featuring young kids starring in some of 2013's Best Picture nominees. There are some great tongue-in-cheek lines out of the mouths of babes that poke fun at Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Zero Dark Thirty, Django Unchained and Lincoln. Don't worry about seeing kids torturing each other or saying the n-word. It's a very kid-friendly production. As we close out 2010, AOL has been busier than Congress this month with a flurry of new deals for us to chew on before New Year’s. The latest is a key talent hire in bringing on Amber J. Lawson as the company’s new Head of Video Programming. Lawson will oversee AOL Studios, AOL Video hub, AOL.com and deals with 3rd party production companies making original content for the network. More specifically, she’ll now have about 566 million video streams a month to look after. The hire takes Lawson from her post at online network Babelgum where she was the Comedy Publisher, growing the site’s comedy channel into a respected curation of comedic shorts and series.
