At the end of civilization, zombies greatly outnumber people and every day is a fight to see tomorrow. Just when he is about to give up this fight, rugged wanderer John Knox winds up being saved by a ragtag group of survivors. After initial suspicion, Knox proves his worth and slips into his new family in the wasteland. However when a war party of maniacal raiders assaults the camp they kidnap Sarah, Knox’s love interest and it’s up to Knox and the few who escaped the attack to gather what resources they can (including zombies!) to launch an all-or-nothing rescue mission on the raiders’ home fortress.
Seeing it as another low-budget zombie flick, I had little hope for Zombie Horde – however despite some flaws,...

Fact: Fred “The Hammer” Williamson stars in an action/horror movie that features a guy in a “Fallout 3″-style suit of armor wielding a flamethrower. That sounds like certified A+ entertainment to me. The coolest thing about director Ryan Thompson’s upcoming zombie effort “Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption” is that it will hit DVD and Blu-ray this October, just in time for Halloween. It’s worth mentioning, however, that any movie featuring Fred Williamson can be enjoy throughout the year. Memorial Day, Labor Day, St. Patrick’s Day — any holiday is made that much more enjoyable with a little sprinkle of Williamson. In other words, “Redemption” looks badass. Here’s a synopsis to get things going: The action-packed feature stars Fred ‘The Hammer’ Williamson as the leader of one of humanity’s last remaining settlements in a world decimated by zombies. Williamson not only finds himself fighting off the zombie hordes...

Kane Hodder is this big, hulking kind of presence that started out with small roles in several horror films including Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, Alligator II: The Mutation & Wishmaster.
