The death of a minor character is actually the least interesting thing on display here but fortunately it doesn't take up much screen time. The ambulance for Mitzy seems to take an awfully long time to arrive, with lots going on elsewhere at the time. There's a nice double twist in her telling Marilyn she lied and then telling Sid she told the truth, which could make the dynamic between them interesting from hereon in.
Indigo and Romeo's relationship gets covered better here than in the previous episode, as we get the real reason for Indi's sudden reticence. The byplay between the two of them, with added Leah, works well and Romeo is definitely back in fun, light-hearted mode after an episode of "dull and moody".
Dexter gets a date with alt-girl Adrian, a girl who can match him for sarcastic comment. His attempts to charm her are woefully geeky and in the end he needs Romeo to point out "You left her on her own, at the surf club, on your date."The only boy for whom "help me feed my fish" is actually not a euphemism.
