"Wow, this is a surprise"

Warning: Spoilers
After her rather odd reintroduction at the end of the previous episode, it's time to get to know the new Roo.The writing of the character is pretty much spot on and her relationship with Alf is instantly believable. There's a bit too much catch up for those of the audience who don't know who she is, most of it via a nauseating speech from the ever irritating Colleen. The hints about her present are interesting but resort to standard Home and Away melodrama like dropping a SIM card in a coffee cup, instead of just cutting it up or throwing it away.

The other returnee here is Liam, who is still the subject of wet dreams for Bianca, currently giving Colleen a run for her money in the annoying stakes, but seems to have found himself a rebound girlfriend. April continues to be the more mature sister, repeatedly taking Bianca to task before the ground gets knocked out from under her at the end.

Also on offer is the discovery that Lily is now four years older than she should be and Will is still a rubbish father. And Indi being the third irritating female in this episode as she wallows in self-pity yet again.
