It is becoming harder and harder to like Ruby. And worryingly, it almost feels like we're supposed to be on her side here, given the lingering shot of her looking teary-eyed after Charlie refuses to let her have her own way.Angelo is within his rights to stay out of it given what Charlie told him last episode but he does overstep the mark slightly by trying to hide Ruby from her.Presumably we're meant to think Charlie trying to drag Ruby home was bad parenting but in reality Ruby didn't really give her any choice.
Nicole seems to have regained the maturity she lost while Penn was around, seeming tired of Ruby's selfish antics and trying to help Liam for his own sake rather than coming across as childish like Romeo does. Liam and Bianca kiss at the end but it's hard to care really, the storyline's been dragged out so long.
Sid seems rather wasted here, doing nothing more than lecture Indi and fill out the numbers on the bucks' night. There's a nice scene of Alf and Irene watching over events like two parents, underlining their status as the show's two elder statesmen.
